CorpNet Review

by LLC Reviews™

Ranking: #6

The task of starting a business can feel more like a burden than an opportunity. You have to jump through a lot of hoops, which makes doing it yourself time-consuming. Many business formation services formed themselves for that reason. They’re here to help you file the documents you need and do all the heavy lifting for you.

The most well known of these services is LegalZoom. However, it’s more expensive and includes fewer features than the focus of this review: CorpNet. The company was founded in 1997 and has helped over 100,000 corporations and LLCs start their businesses since then. In this CorpNet review, we’ll cover everything you need to know before you decide whether to use them.

CorpNet Pricing

CorpNet has 3 price points: Basic ($79), Deluxe ($199) & Complete ($249)

With prices starting at $79, CorpNet is on par with the other business formation service out there.

For their more extensive packages, “Deluxe” and “Complete”, they charge $199 and $249, respectively. The claim their Complete ($249) Package is the Best Value and we absolutely agree. CorpNet's Complete Package includes all of the core services (read more below in the  "Compare Apples to Apples" section).

If you’re on a strict budget there are cheaper options, such as IncFile.

Keep in mind that each state charges a minimum required filing fee. CorpNet has no say in this fee and cannot refund it. Your state may offer expedited filing for an additional fee.

Let's analyze the real costs of the core services everyone wants.  The "core" services most requested by LLC formation customers are: (1) preparation and filing of LLC paperwork with the state; (2) within two business days; (3) with a custom/personalized operating agreement; and (4) an EIN.

CorpNet's Basic ($79) Package includes only 1 out of the 4 core services (filing the paperwork with the state). You'll have to pay an additional $49 to get the paperwork filed within 24 hours; and $69 for each of the EIN and Customized Operating Agreement for a grand total of $266 for all 4 core services.

Their Deluxe ($199) Package includes 3 out of the 4 core services.  You can add the Company Agreement for an additional $69, but the total would be $268 ($2 more than if we started from the Basic Package.

CorpNet's Complete ($249) package includes all 4 core services and at $249 is the cheapest way to get all 4 core services.
